Amex Platinum Member? Do This Before The End Of 2022
Maximise Amex Platinum perks: dining, Dell, and shopping credits – act before they reset!
If you’re an American Express Platinum or Business Platinum card holder, you have a few card benefits that reset annually; that date, of course is coming close as the end of the year is very much in sight.
It’s easy to forget about these benefits, so in this quick post, I wanted to remind you to either use them or lose them!
1) American Express Platinum Dining Credit
A new benefit introduced earlier this year gives American Express Platinum Cardmembers a $400 dining credit each year. If you haven’t done so already, you need to register this benefit (one time) via your Amex Offers page in the account. Once done, you will get a $200 dining credit at selected Australian restaurants and $200 at several international dining destinations.

The benefit automatically resets on January 1, 2023, so if you have unused dining credit, now’s a good time to use it!
If you’ve only recently signed up for an American Express Platinum card, you will technically get $800 worth of dining credit in your first membership year, so don’t forget to register and use the benefit in the next few weeks.
2) American Express Business Platinum Dell Credit
American Express Business Platinum Cardmembers get $125 worth of Dell credit twice every year they hold the Card. This benefit resets every 6 months; the next reset date will be December 31, 2022.
You will need to save the benefit to your Card via the offers page and spend online or over the phone to get the $125 credit back to your account.
The redemption periods are between July 1 2022 – December 31 2022; January 1 2023 – June 30 2023, and between July 1 2023 – December 31 2023. Limited to a maximum of two credits at a total of $250 each year, per Card.
3) Net-A-Porter Credit / Mr Porter Credit
American Express Platinum Cardholders enjoy a credit of up to $75, twice per calendar year when you spend across NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER. That’s up to $150 that you can get back each year for shopping your favourite brands. The credit renews every 6 months and the next cut off date will like the above, December 31, 2022.
