This month Amex is sweetening the deal big time! Instead of the usual bonus you get for referring a friend to Amex, they’re now boosting the offer until August 15. For a list of our favourite cards to refer, check this post here.
For those with a lot of friends (or those that already reached the 200,000 point cap this year), Amex has come to the table and added an extra 200,000 point cap to the total tally. This means if you haven’t referred anyone yet during your membership year so far, you could potentially earn a rather healthy 400,000 bonus points! Amex has supercharged the referral bonus by a minimum of 100% and on some cards, it’s even higher.

This booster promotion is only available for personal cards and does not apply to business or corporate Amex products. It’s also important to keep in mind that you’re only allowed to refer friends and family, spamming your unique referral link online is a sure way of getting your account shut down.
