Back in May, we saw a 20% discount on Marriott eGift cards (I bought some) and this time around Marriott is offering 15% for all purchases up to US$5,000 from November 30 until December 1 2020. You can purchase the discounted eGift cards via this page.
If you frequent Marriott properties, these gift cards are a no-brainer. I stack these gift cards with other hotel VIP discounts and present the voucher when checking out of the hotel.
Technically the sale of the Marriott eGift cards is only open to USA and Canadian residents, but you can simply enter a random US postal address to get past this; after all, the vouchers are digital. I’ve successfully used a “MyUS” postal forwarding address to purchase gift vouchers. To further avoid issues getting your order verified, use a VPN to change your IP address to the USA.
Keep in mind that the following Marriott brands do not accept eGift cards:
Bulgari, Design Hotels, Homes & Villas by Marriott International,
The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club.
Do eGift cards expire?
No, Marriott eGift Cards never expire.
How to get Marriott VIP perks?
Many of the high-end Marriott hotels partner with booking partners such as American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts and Virtuoso. With these programs, you get benefits such as free breakfast, US$100 food and beverage credit, upgrades and other perks. At Flight Hacks, we partner with Classic Travel to offer our readers these benefits at no extra cost (there are no booking fees and you pay directly with the hotel).
To check rates for hotels, all you need to do is make a free account via this page.
