Virgin Australia Adelaide Lounge Review
The brand new Virgin Australia lounge in Adelaide has finally opened its doors after long delays. The lounge is a significant upgrade compared to the current Virgin Australia lounges around Australia

Qantas First Class Lounge Singapore Review
The new Qantas First Class lounge in Singapore T1 is a welcome addition, and right now I would say it’s the best lounge in the entire airport. One World Emerald and higher frequent flyers and those travelling first class on a One World airline will be very impressed with this new space and what it has to offer. Sure, there are no spa facilities, but I think the food and beverage options make up for this.

Swiss First Class Lounge Zurich Review
Swiss Airlines delivers hands down one of the best first-class ground experiences in the world. If you’re lucky enough to try it, make sure to arrive with plenty of time to spare as this is one of those lounges where you can easily spend a whole day!

Qatar Airways Al Safwa First Class Lounge Review
The Qatar Airways first class lounge is one of the most impressive lounges out there, and although it was a tad awkward being the only guest, it only added to the surreal vibe of the place.

Lufthansa First Class Terminal Frankfurt Review
While the Lufthansa FCT is nothing compared to what Swiss offers in Zurich, it’s still a great lounge with excellent facilities. When it comes to service, it’s an odd situation. There seemed to be waitstaff who look after the catering and then there was the Lufthansa staff (concierge, personal assistants etc.).

Qantas First Class Lounge Sydney Review
I’ve visited the lounge a couple of times now and always really enjoy the experience. The design of the space is unique and beautiful with AV geek worthy views over the tarmac. You can easily spend 4h in this lounge before your flight without getting bored. After all the Qantas A380’s have departed for the day, the lounge quietens down significantly and makes for an excellent place to relax before your flight.

Etihad First Class Lounge Abu Dhabi
Overall it was one of the best lounge experiences I’ve enjoyed. Considering this was my first time flying Etihad first class, I didn’t have anything to compare too other than reviews and trip reports I’ve read. I think the most significant difference one would notice is the trimmed down food menu as there used to be a “fine dining” option in collaboration with Emirates Palace hotel along with a more elaborate selection of cocktails (which I might have missed?).

Air New Zealand Perth Lounge Preview
Air New Zealand managed to create a nice new space for passengers to relax before their flight, right now it’s the best lounge in Perth International or at least on par with the Emirates lounge downstairs. I’m hoping Singapore Airlines will follow suit in the future with a long overdue lounge revamp but the chances of that happening anytime soon are slim.
