American Express Adds ALL Accor Points Transfers

American Express and ALL Accor have announced an exciting expansion of their partnership, designed to reward card members across Australia and New Zealand.

From today, you will have the option to transfer Membership Rewards Points to ALL Accor Points, with a transfer ratio of 5:1. That means 2,500 Membership Rewards Points will get you 500 ALL Accor Points, which is worth around $16 off a hotel stay.

The announcement is designed to elevate the travel journey for Amex card members earning Membership Rewards, who now have access to a whopping up to 15 airline, hotel, and loyalty transfer partners. That’s more than any other flexible bank rewards program in Australia.

American Express will join NAB, which offers 6:1 transfers, and Virgin Money, who offer 3:1 transfers to Accor. This places Amex’s transfer rate somewhere in the middle of the market.

The Membership Rewards transfer benefit comes in addition to the complimentary ALL Accor+ Explorer membership that is already offered to American Express Platinum card members.

“Travel is a popular way in which our card members use their Membership Rewards points," said Nick Alexander, Amex's VP of Cobrand, Loyalty and Partnerships.

“Building on our existing partnership with Accor, we’re amplifying the value of two trusted global brands, by continuing meaningful recognition and adding greater redemption flexibility to deliver elevated, end-to-end experiences for Card Members across Accor’s global footprint."

American Express Unlocks ALL Accor Points Transfers

As of 28 April 2026, you can transfer Amex Membership Rewards Points to ALL Accor Rewards. It’s a 5:1 transfer ratio, with a minimum transfer of 2,500 Membership Rewards Points for 500 ALL Accor Points. Then, transfers can be made in increments of 5 MR Points.

Accor Points have a fixed value of €40 (around 64 AUD) for every 2,000 points redeemed on hotel stays. This means that a minimum transfer of 2,500 MR Points to 500 ALL Points would save you around 16 AUD on your stay.

When you make a points transfer, the Accor Points will typically land in your account instantly. Although Amex does mention that you should allow up to 48 hours for the transfer to be completed.

Summing Up: My Take

It’s always great to see a new transfer partner added, and American Express continues to lead the pack when it comes to transfer partner choice. With Hilton Honors, Marriott Bonvoy and now ALL Accor, Membership Rewards covers three of the world’s largest hotel groups.

The 5:1 transfer rate could be better, but it’s still competitive. You won’t get the same upside as airline transfers, but the simplicity and near-instant conversions make it an easy way to offset hotel costs.

Overall, this is a positive move. More flexibility is always a win, even if it’s not the most lucrative redemption option.
