Extended: Free WiFi For All Singapore Airlines Passengers

From 1 July 2023, Singapore Airlines will extend its complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi service to all cabin classes, including Premium Economy and Economy, making SIA the airline with the most comprehensive free Wi-Fi offering in the industry.

This improved Wi-Fi service will be nearly ubiquitous across SIA’s aircraft fleet1 and will cover almost the entirety of SIA’s global route network.

  • Starting 1 July 2023, SIA is providing free unlimited Wi-Fi to all customers, across all cabin classes.
  • The service will cover almost the entire SIA aircraft fleet and global route network.
  • Customers will need to input their KrisFlyer membership details to access this service.
  • Non-KrisFlyer members can sign up for free membership to avail this service.
  • KrisFlyer members in Premium Economy and Economy classes have been offered free Wi-Fi surfing plans since February 2023.

This means that passengers, regardless of cabin class, will have the opportunity to stay connected, work online, keep abreast of current events, or manage their social media accounts, even whilst 36,000 feet in the air.

To utilise this service, customers will need to input their KrisFlyer membership details during the Manage Booking online process or at check-in. Non-KrisFlyer members can also register for a free membership online or during their flight via the SIA digital content portal on their personal mobile devices to avail the complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi.

Passengers in Suites, First Class, Business Class, and PPS Club members will maintain their free unlimited in-flight Wi-Fi access. Since February 2023, KrisFlyer members in Premium Economy and Economy classes have been offered complimentary three- and two-hour Wi-Fi surfing plans, respectively.

Mr Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience, Singapore Airlines, said:

“In today’s increasingly hyper-connected world, high-speed in-flight Wi-Fi connectivity is one of the most important requirements for our customers. Giving them access to free unlimited Wi-Fi is yet another milestone in SIA’s continuous effort to offer an exceptional end-to-end travel experience. With this enhanced offering, our customers will be empowered to stay connected, entertained, and productive, even at 36,000 feet in the sky.”
