I’m a massive fan of the Singapore Airlines Spontaneous Escapes which are released each month around the same date. Last month didn’t really have any Australian destinations on offer but this time around we’re in luck.

Singapore Airlines Spontaneous Escapes

If you’re not familiar with Singapore Airlines Spontaneous Escapes, every month, Singapore Airlines produces a list of discounted KrisFlyer redemption routes offering a miles saving of 30%. Different classes are on offer, but we’ll only look at the business class section here.

Brisbane to and from Singapore

Brisbanites are in luck this time; business class is on offer for flights SQ255, SQ265 from Singapore to Brisbane and SQ256, SQ266 from Brisbane to Singapore.

The price?

You get a 30% discount, so a total of 43,400 Kris Flyer miles are required for a one-way ticket. Bargain!

Simply redeem online from now till 31 May 2019 to qualify, for travel from 1 to 30 June 2019 inclusive.

Singapore to Melbourne

Those looking to get back to Melbourne in style are also in luck. SQ217, SQ227, SQ237, SQ257, SQ267 are all part of the spontaneous escapes and will set you back 43,400 Kris Flyer miles in business class + taxes. Unfortunately, there are no discounts on the outbound flights.

Other routes

There are some other interesting deals to be had to South Africa, Japan and the US in business class. For more routes check out the dedicated Spontaneous Escapes page here.

Singapore Asia North Airlines

Singapore Airlines America

Singapore Airlines Africa

Important

To qualify for the promotion, tickets must be issued between 15 – 31 May 2019 GMT+8, all dates inclusive, for travel between 1 and 30 Jun 2019 GMT+8, all dates inclusive.

All travel must be completed by 30 Jun 2019 GMT+8.

This means if any part of the itinerary falls outside the dates, you won’t get the discounted price. Same goes for waitlisted flights, if your flight doesn’t clear before the cut off date, you will not get the discounted rate.

Also note that even though normal redemptions are refundable, Spontaneous Escapes tickets are non-refundable.
