Until the end of the month, you could receive up to 20% bonus Velocity Points on Amex Membership Rewards (MR) transfers, depending on the type of card you hold. As we know, Velocity Frequent Flyer offers regular transfer bonus promotions with its banking partners, but unfortunately for some, this latest offer applies only to Amex cardholders. The good news is that there is no registration required and no limit on the number of times you can make a transfer.

To receive the bonus, simply transfer at least 2,000 Membership Rewards points to Velocity before 28 February 2023. If you hold a Centurion, Platinum, Platinum Business or Rewards Advantage card, you’ll be in for 20% bonus Velocity points. All other cardholders can receive 15% bonus Velocity points.

How To Transfer Amex MR Points To Velocity

Membership Rewards points can be converted into Velocity Points online, via your American Express account. If you haven’t previously linked your Velocity number with Amex, you can do so by selecting “Link More Airline Programs” from within your online account.

Once you’ve linked both programs, it is pretty simple to transfer. Here’s what you’ll need to do;

Step 1: Log in to your American Express account.

Step 2: Select “Rewards” and then “Membership Rewards Home” from the drop down menu.

Step 3: Select “Redeem”, then “Travel” and then “Redeem” again.

Step 4: Locate Velocity and hit “Transfer My Points”.

Step 5: Enter the number of points you wish to transfer and click on “Transfer”.
