Australia to Hawaii in Business From $2156 Return
Fly Australia Hawaii in business class comfort for only $2,156 return—luxury and value combined!Right now there are some excellent business class fares from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and even Canberra to Hawaii.
Qantas kicked off the sale by offering flights from as low as $2188 (sometimes even cheaper depending on the date). The 10h + journey would net you a healthy 18,000 points and 280 status credits on a Sydney to Honolulu round-trip.
While researching these flights I noticed Hawaiian Airlines now also has come to the table offering fares around the same price point on their re-fitted A330’s
Hawaiian Airlines deals can be had for $2156 for a return business class ticket to Honolulu, which is excellent.
How to book?
You can either book direct or use an OTA (online travel agent) to reduce the price even further. My favourite to research these type of deals is Momondo or SkyScanner Australia.
Availability seems to be excellent right up until the end of May 2019.
Which business class is better?
The new Hawaiian Airlines A330 business class looks much nicer compared to the dated Qantas 747 cabin. Both are a 2-2-2 layout (which is unfortunate) and both have complete flat bed seats. Since the A330’s are new, Hawaiian Airlines gets my vote.
Where to credit your Hawaiian Airlines miles?
When flying Hawaiian Airlines there are a few options for crediting your miles. For Australian frequent flyers, Virgin Australia’s Velocity program would be the obvious choice; this would earn you status credits and points. If American Airlines is more your thing, this is also an option. For the full list of partner airlines; check out the handy Where to Credit Website.
