Cathay Pacific revealed its newest lounge, The Deck at the Hong Kong International Airport. Another big reason for you to be on time arriving at HKG.

So when you arrive at Hong Kong airport, make your way to The Deck which is located close to gate 16 in terminal 1 at level 7, the lounge is designed with a contemporary living style, The Deck is encompasses understated luxury, calmness, and comfort.

Indulge in Asia’s tastiest delights at the Noodle Bar

Dining is at the heart of The Deck. The main lounge provides you with a range of self-service and freshly cooked international offerings. But don’t miss out on the iconic favorites — The Noodle Bar. Any noodle foodie craving for Hong Kong’s local classics such as the wonton noodles, Singapore Laksa, and Taiwanese noodles can definitely look forward to activating those taste buds. And if that’s not enough, take a bite at the variety of dim sum and buns. Other ready-to-order Asian delights such as the Sichuanese dan dan noodles and Japanese -style vegetarian noodles are also available.

Unwind on The Terrace

The Deck is different from other Cathay Pacific lounges. It sits on a balcony on the eastern side of the terminal building. At The Terrace you will see an external wraparound open-ceiling L-shaped verandah complete with both table and individual seating where you can enjoy panoramic views of the taxi-ways, airport’s apron, and its northern runaway, all while savoring wide varieties of drinks and dining choices.

What’s great about The Deck is the fact that its designed with practicality, comfort, and privacy in mind. It’s natural materials, with plenty of greenery elements and creative artwork by local artists becomes the life of a welcoming atmosphere in this unique lounge. The Deck is 823 square meters fitting 180 passengers.

Making it even more luxurious is the relaxation room zone where you can rest on Solo chairs, and take showers in their 8 unit shower suites. Not forgetting a complete washroom facility and a range of comfortable seating.

The Deck, along with Cathay Pacific’s other lounges such as The Bridge, The Pier Business, First Class Lounges, The Wing Business including First Class lounges and The Arrival will be providing customers with a Life Well Travelled experience at HKIA. The Cabin, however, will close on 30th April 2018.
