Emirates A380 Returns To Brisbane From 1 March

Emirates continues to ramp up its services to Australia to meet travel demand. In its latest expansion of services into Australia, passengers travelling to Brisbane will soon be able to enjoy daily flights to the destination, from 1 March. Consecutively, with the increase in frequency to the third most visited city in Australia, Emirates’ flagship A380 will make a comeback to the Queensland capital, also planned from 1 March.

The daily flight between Brisbane and Dubai will operate as EK430/431, and will offer 14 First Class suites, 76 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 426 ergonomically designed seats in Economy Class. Tickets can be booked on emirates.com, the Emirates App, or via both online and offline travel agents.

Currently, flights to and from Brisbane are scheduled six times per week utilising the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. From 1 March, flights will undergo a significant boost, becoming daily, with the double-decker A380 aircraft to operate the route. The aircraft change and frequency increase will provide approximately 3,000 additional seats per week to both inbound and outbound travellers.

Emirates currently offers daily services between Emirates’ hub in Dubai and Sydney and, from 1 March, the New South Wales capital will be served with twice-daily A380 services. Daily A380 services to Melbourne commenced on 1 February, making Brisbane the third point in Australia to resume its signature A380 services. Emirates also offers three weekly services to Perth.

Emirates will connect Australia with its global network of over 120 destinations through 31 weekly flights via its points serving Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.

As many Australians plan to travel overseas again, the airline has placed an emphasis on flexibility when it comes to travel. This includes extending its flexible booking policies to August 2022 in case travellers need to adjust their travel plans, with some tickets being extended by up to 36 months.
