Jetstar has returned its “Fly a Friend for Free” sale that proved hugely popular last year – but there’s a catch.

To score the free flights for a mate, you’ll need to purchase a holiday package, which comes bundled with return flights. For each passenger paying for a full fare, an additional passenger can tag along for free, when booked as part of a selected Jetstar Holidays package.

Destinations available as part of the sale include Melbourne, Sydney and Port Douglas, plus international destinations including Japan and South Korea.

Jetstar Holidays packages include return Economy Starter fares, 20kg of checked luggage, 7kg carry-on, seat selection, and accommodation. Plus, some Jetstar accommodation options include additional perks such as daily breakfast, late checkout, room upgrades and dining vouchers.
