Buy Marriott Bonvoy Points With 50% Bonus.
This is the highest ever bonus points promotion we’ve seen to date. However, it’s only worth buying if you have a specific use in mind.
Marriott Bonvoy points can be transferred to a massive list of airline partners, so if you have a specific redemption in mind, this can potentially be a cost-effective way to fly business or first class.
Bonvoy points transfer to the majority of airline program at a ratio of 3:1. For every 60,000 Bonvoy points you transfer you will receive 20,000 airline miles + 5,000 bonus miles. For this reason, it’s important that you split up your transfers to your favourite airline program in chunks of 60k miles in order to receive the 5k bonus.
Example: You could potentially buy Marriott Bonvoy, transfer them to Aegean Miles+Bonus and then redeem them for a first class trip with ANA (All Nipon Airways) from Asia to Europe (which required 90k Miles + Bonus). The total cost would be around US$1,800; not cheap but much more affordable compared to paying for first class outright.
Get a 50% bonus when you buy 2,000+ Marriott Bonvoy points, now through March 25.
Plus, you can double your limit. The annual maximum for purchased points will be raised from 50,000 points to 100,000 points between February 18, 2020, and March 25, 2020. You can buy up to 50,000 points per transaction. To purchase up to an annual limit of 100,000 points as part of this promotion, an additional transaction is required. The annual limit includes points previously purchased in 2020 but does not include the bonus points earned with this promotion.
