For the last 3 years, we’ve seen Marriott offer their rather lucrative double elite night promotion. To my surprise, they’ve brought it back again this year! (this is exactly what I said last year and, again… I’m amazed this promo is now going for a third year!).

The promotion officially kicks off on February 13th and runs through to April 29, 2024. Registration closes on April 15th, 2024.
On top of getting 1 elite night bonus per 1 night stayed you will also get 1,000 bonus points on each eligible paid night. This means you can achieve elite status with half the requirements!

Are Points Bookings Eligible?
The first year of this promo, we were able to book stays using points and still score the double elite nights, this has been removed since last year, and the terms and conditions state clearly that “Cash + Points Awards, Free Night Awards, or a points redemption are not eligible for the promotion.”
Will My Existing Bookings Count?
Yes! As long as they are booked direct and commence after February 7 and end before April 9th, you stayed will earn double elite nights + 1,000 points per night.
How Many Elite Nights Do I Need?
With this promo, you will reach the next elite tier with only half the required nights!
- Silver Elite: 5 nights
- Gold Elite: 13 nights
- Platinum Elite: 25 nights
- Titanium Elite: 38
- Ambassador Elite: 50 + US$23,000 worth of spending.
From our experience, Silver and Gold are hardly worth your time, so if that’s a goal, you might want to re-consider this promotion. The real value of Marriott Elite status starts from Platinum and up. In our opinion, Titanium is the sweet spot.
Are Third-party Bookings Eligible?
It goes without saying that third-party booking sites such as hotels.com, booking.com, Expedia etc., are not eligible for elite benefits or earning points. However, if you book through a Marriott STARS agent, you will still earn double elite nights and get other benefits such as food & beverage credits, upgrades & more at select high-end Marriott properties. You can contact us for Marriott STARS bookings; Flight Hack does not charge any booking fees for this service!
Any Other Terms & Conditions?
Stays at Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott Executive Apartments, and owner-occupied weeks at Marriott Vacation Club, Marriott Grand Residence Club, Sheraton Vacation Club, Westin Vacation Club, The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Regis Residence Club and Luxury Collection Residence Club, are not eligible for bonus points or bonus Elite Night Credits for this promotion.
Only one room at one property per night is counted toward a member’s nights for the promotion. The 1,000 bonus points per eligible paid night and one bonus Elite Night Credit per eligible paid night will be awarded to the member’s account within 7 business days after checkout and will post with the stay.
Elite Night Credits will count only toward the status year in which they are posted. A member who elects to earn miles is not eligible for this promotion.
If I have a gold elite status obtained from having Amex Platinum, do I still need to stay the full 25days (50days) to get to Platinum elite with this current promotion?

Yes that’s correct. You can also request a Platinum challenge by calling Marriott which is 16 nights in 3 months, however, the double nights don’t count for that fast track and you also don’t get milestone rewards.
