Sydney To Europe Business Class Return From $3628

It’s not often we get a good deal from Australia to Europe; let alone Sydney! One of the most underrated airlines, China Airlines (they are based out of Taipei so probably the least “Chinese” airline in the region) are running an incredible sale from AU$3,628 in business class to Amsterdam RETURN!

Best off all, the flights on both legs to and from Taipei are operated by their A350-900 which has a stunning business class cabin.

While I have yet to review this product (I might just jump on this deal), it’s very highly rated amongst frequent flyers.

Travel Dates

To find the best dates to travel, head over to Google Flights and use the calendar view to get an insight quickly. From what I can tell, availability is fantastic right up until December 2020!

How to get the best price?

Booking direct will set you back $3714 but if you want to save a few dollars, head over to Skyscanner where the same fare is on offer for AU$3,628. The same low fare is also available via Momondo.

  • Step 1: Research dates on Google Flights
  • Step 2: Use an OTA such as Skyscanner or Momondo to get the best price

Other Destinations?

Amsterdam appears to be the cheapest destinations (and arguably one of the best hubs in Europe). Similar prices can be found to Vienna, Rome and Frankfurt as well.

What’s China Airlines Business Class Like?

China Airlines has a very familiar reverse herringbone 1–2-1 configuration which is very similar to Virgin Australia or Cathay Pacific (amongst many other airlines who use this model seat — Collins Aerospace Super Diamond).

Where To Credit Points?

China Airlines is part of SkyTeam, although there’s not a significant SkyTeam presence in Australia, I would personally credit these miles to Flying Blue which will net you 23,906 miles. This should be more than enough to redeem a short-haul flight with Air France or KLM within Europe. This particular fare books in “D” class.
