Up To 20% Off Dining At Marriott Hotels In Australia

Note: Marriott quietly updated this promotion from 30% discount down to 20% for Platinum members. Gold elites now only get 15% and Silver is still 10%. It’s rather disappointing that Marriott changed this after launching the promotion. From personal experience and feedback from other readers, a few hotels are simply not aware of this promotion so you will need to keep the T&C page at hand in case you need to refer them.

All Marriott Bonvoy members in the Asia Pacific region (including Australia) can now enjoy between 10-30% off dining and beverages at selected restaurants and bars located within participating hotels.

If you have Bonvoy Platinum or higher, you will get a rather generous 30% off dining and drinks! In addition to this, members will earn 10 points per dollar as well.

Do you have to stay to get a discount?

No! The discount also applies if you’re simply visiting the participating restaurants or bars, there’s no need to stay, but you might as well make a staycation out of it since we’re not going overseas any time soon…

When does the Marriott F&B discount finish?

The Marriott Bonvoy F&B discount promotion runs until December 31 and includes more than 2,800 properties in the Asia Pacific region.

Marriott Bonvoy Discount Tiers

Depending on your elite status with Bonvoy, you will get a different discount rate.

• Silver Elite: 10%
• Gold Elite: 20% (now 15%)
• Platinum Elite (or higher): 30% (now 20%)

There are a few terms and conditions; for example, the discount doesn’t apply to in-room dining or minibar charges. There are also some exclusions such as corkage fees, and there’s a limit to the size of your party (10 people max) to get the discount. You can see all the T&C’s here.

Good to know

To get the discount applied you must do so when settling the bill, even when you are charging it to your room. Another thing to note is that this discount does not apply to breakfast. So if one of the restaurants listed does breakfast, you will not be able to get a discount on that.

If you’re not in lockdown and looking for a local escape/staycation, this is an excellent deal. Especially considering drinks are included! I’m looking forward to trying out the new “Heart” restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Perth as this 30% discount sounds like the perfect excuse!
