Velocity 15% Transfer Bonus Is Back

It’s back; transfer your flexible points for any of the participating programs to Velocity Frequent Flyer and receive a 15% boost on your points balance.

Your transfer must be initiated before November 30, 2018, to get the 15% bonus points credited.

Update: I looks like ANZ has joined the party and is now offering an extra 15% on top of the 15% Velocity is already giving. This means you could get a 30% bonus if you hold an ANZ rewards credit card!

Which Credit Cards / Hotel Programs / Retail Programs are participating?

Note that this deal doesn’t include credit cards which earn Velocity points as a standard. The promotion is there to persuade those with flexible points (the best kind of points) such as Amex Membership Rewards and ANZ Rewards to send their points to Velocity Frequent Flyer.

Should You Transfer?

If you’ve got a Velocity Redemption in mind, now is an excellent time to send those points across. However, keep in mind that Velocity is de-valuating the transfer rates to Singapore Airlines as of next year. The other thing to remember is that in the past, Velocity has increased the transfer bonus towards the end of the promotion. So unless you’re in a rush, I wouldn’t show my cards just yet and see if there’s an extra bonus up for grabs.

Velocity Frequent Flyer has just launched a campaign to promote its Frequent Flyer program.
