As part of Virgin Australia’s Black Friday sale, travellers can save up to 50% on Economy X upgrades and score up to off 25% flights across selected domestic and short-haul international routes.
These limited-time flight deals are quite substantial, making right now a great time to lock in discounted 2026 getaways. For example, Melbourne to Denpasar Bali is available at just $419 return on a Lite fare, and an Economy X upgrade on the same route can be had for as little as $72 in addition to the ticket. Black Friday: Up To 50% Off Economy X
Economy X makes flying with Virgin Australia even more wonderful. It’s a popular upgrade without splurging on Business Class, and right now, Economy X is even more valuable with up to 50% off during the Black Friday Sale.
Economy X passengers enjoy up to 40% more legroom compared to a regular Economy seat, in addition to priority check-in for international flights, priority boarding and preferred overhead luggage space.
During the sale, you can save 10%, 25% or 50% off the price to select an Economy X seat, depending on the route. The 50% discount is available on a spread of domestic and international services, including routes such as Adelaide-Canberra, Brisbane-Sydney, Melbourne-Hobart, and Sydney-Nadi (Fiji).
