Can I upgrade using my Velocity Points?

Velocity Points can be used to upgrade from Economy Choice or Flex fares on Virgin Australia flights.^

How many Points will I need?

To work out the exact cost of an outright redemption, you will need a couple of things; one is the partner award chart of the airline you want to book flights on, and two is a tool to calculate the air miles you will be flying. Thankfully Velocity uses a distance-based award chart, so pricing is calculated based on the distance flown. You can check how many points you will need here: Mileage Calculator

Each Velocity partner airline has its own award chart, which you can find on the Velocity Frequent Flyer website, but here are a few of the most sought-after routes: https://experience.velocityfrequentflyer.com/flying-status/use-points-for-flights#table-2
