Earning Points
The American Express Velocity Business Card allows you to earn:
- 1 Velocity Point per $1 spent on eligible everyday business purchases
- 2 Velocity Points per $1 spent on eligible Virgin Australia flights booked through the Virgin Australia website, call centre, or travel agents
There are some exceptions where you will not earn points or earn points at a reduced rate. For example, spending on government bodies, utilities, or insurance will earn you 0.5 points per $1 spent.
