Sydney has just got a brand new boutique hotel in Darling Harbour and doors are set to open come December!

Be the first to stay in the much-anticipated luxury boutique hotel, Aiden Darling Harbour when it opens in Sydney on 1 December 2021, just in time for summer and the festive holidays.

Three years in the making, Aiden Darling Harbour is a smartly-designed, digitally-connected hotel inspired by the past and present of its local neighbourhood, combining convenience with style for a great value city stay experience.

Set in a beautifully remodelled 1930s Art Deco building, the new hotel’s 88 compact rooms have been thoughtfully created to celebrate super comfy Sleepmaker beds with stay essentials including a Dyson Supersonic hairdryer, luxurious Rituals bathroom amenities, JVD clothing steamer/iron, ready-to-fill mini fridge, and complimentary Moda Sparkling Water and locally-made goodies from Love Tea and Madhouse Bakehouse. Some rooms also feature a private open-air balcony with outdoor furniture looking out to the harbour and the city skyline.

Connecting guests to the local area is the hotel’s collection of bespoke artworks, including vibrant hand-painted murals of blooming native flora in guest rooms and an incredible 25-metre-high “ever-green wall” rainforest visible from a select few rooms, all by award-winning Australian artist in residence, Jessica Le Clerc.

Other hotel features tying in the local experience include an all-Australian beverage menu and signature SYP cocktails in ground floor Wayfarer’s Bar & Café, e-bikes for exploring the neighbourhood, and custom-designed mesh cloud lobby lighting representing fishing nets from Sydney Harbour.

Aiden Darling Harbour’s team of multi-skilled hosts will be on hand to help guests uncover the village vibe and gems of Pyrmont and neighbouring Darling Harbour, from local art, lush parks and wharf walks to buzzing alfresco cafes, waterfront dining and boutique shopping, while Sydney’s CBD is just a few minutes walk away across Pyrmont Bridge.

The new boutique hotel also keeps guests connected with complimentary super speedy Wi-Fi and chromecasting, contactless self check-in and check-out via kiosk, and digital mobile room keys.

“Aiden Darling Harbour has been designed for travellers by travellers to deliver everything you need in a hotel and nothing you don’t. So you can enjoy a smart, sophisticated, locally-connected travel experience with personalised service in an excellent location at an affordable price,” said General Manager, Michael Sharp.
