You can now fly Aria Suites to and from Melbourne with Cathay Pacific
Following the introduction of Cathay Pacific’s newest business class product dubbed “Aria Suites” on the Hong Kong to Sydney route, the flagship product is now also flying to Melbourne!
Passengers travelling on CX104, departing Melbourne at 2:25PM and CX105 departing Hong Kong at 12:20AM will be able to enjoy the new suites.

The Aria Suite is Cathay Pacific’s most significant business class upgrade in years. Each suite features a reverse-herringbone layout in a 1-2-1 configuration, ensuring direct aisle access and greater personal space. Sliding doors create a semi-enclosed cocoon, balancing privacy with openness.
The seat converts into a fully lie-flat bed around 190 cm long and 53 cm wide. While the footwell is compact, it’s spacious enough for comfortable sleep—even for side sleepers.
Tech features stand out, with a 24-inch 4K touchscreen entertainment system supporting Bluetooth audio, USB-A, USB-C, and AC power outlets. Thoughtful details include a discreet seat-side clock displaying remaining flight time and a real-time lavatory availability indicator on the inflight entertainment system.
Storage options are thoughtfully designed, including a marble-effect side console with compartments for passports, glasses, and shoes. The fold-out dining table conveniently holds tablets or phones securely in place.
Luxury details like soft mattresses, generous pillows, quality duvets, and premium Bamford amenity kits elevate the experience. Coupled with attentive service and menus curated in collaboration with Michelin-starred restaurants from Hong Kong, the Aria Suite sets a new standard in premium business class.
As of August, 2025, the Aria Suite is available on flights into Melbourne.
