Velocity Frequent Flyer is offering double Velocity points (not status points) for all bookings made from today until December 17, 2018.
You can book travel up to December 5, 2019. The catch is that you need to register your Velocity account via this promo page to be eligible.
There are no flight restrictions for this promotion, so as long as you register the deal to your frequent flyer number, you’re good to go!
How to book?
Booking flights with Virgin Australia doesn’t have to be direct even if you want to take advantage of double points. If you find a better price through OTAs such as Momondo, Expedia or Skyscanner for example, you can book through them. Just ensure your Velocity Frequent Flyer number is entered at the time of booking for the points to track.

To be eligible for the Double Velocity Points promotion you must (1) Activate this offer through the activation link contained on this page between 12.01am AEST 10 December 2018 and 11.59pm 17 December 2018 inclusive (Promotion Period); (2) book an Eligible Flight during the Promotion Period; and 3) enter a valid Velocity membership number at time of booking.
An Eligible Flight is a flight marketed and operated by Virgin Australia, for travel between 10 December 2018 and 5 December 2019 inclusive which are flights on which Points can be earned and booked in a fare class that normally accrues Points.
Points cannot be earned on Velocity Reward Seat bookings. Flights can be booked via Virgin Australia website. Codeshare services marketed or operated by partner airlines other than Virgin Australia are not eligible for this offer. Bonus Points will be applied to the base points only.
Any applicable tier bonus earned will not attract Bonus points as a result of this offer. Bonus Points will be applied to the originally purchased fare class and any upgrades will not attract Bonus Points as a result of this offer.
This Velocity Points offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. You should allow up to 4 weeks after the travel period for the bonus Velocity Points to be allocated.
