Earn 30% Bonus On Points Transfers To Qatar Airways Avios

Qatar Airways has announced an exciting offer where Privilege Club members can earn an additional 30% bonus Avios when they convert their reward points into Avios. The promotion runs from 1st June 2023 to 30th June 2023.

To be eligible for this bonus, here’s what you need to do:

• Log in to your rewards account with your bank.
• Choose to convert your reward points into Avios with Qatar Airways Privilege Club.
• Ensure that you convert a minimum of 1,000 points in a single transaction to qualify for the 30% bonus.

Remember that the bonus Avios will be calculated per transaction and not on the total sum converted during the promotional period. The bonus Avios are subject to the conversion ratio and terms set by the participating banks.

Transfer Rate:

• Commbank Rewards transfer at 3:1 Avios
• Citi Rewards (Prestige) transfer at 3:1 Avios

In addition to the 30% bonus, you stand a chance to win 100,000 extra Avios. The top 10 members with the highest conversion value at the end of the campaign will be awarded this additional bonus. However, to be eligible for this, you need to have a minimum cumulative sum of 500,000 Avios. Winners will be contacted within 45 business days after the campaign ends.

All the bonus Avios earned will be reflected in your Privilege Club account within 45 days post the campaign’s end date.

The participating Australian banks for this promotion are Citi Bank and Commonwealth Bank. Once your rewards points are converted into Avios and credited to your Privilege Club account, the transaction cannot be reversed.

Unfortunately, the transfer partners in Australia are rather limited right now but this is still a good opportunity for those with Commbank Rewards or Citi Rewards. Before transferring, make sure you run the numbers on award redemptions as in many cases you might be better off converting to Velocity Frequent Flyer and redeem Qatar Airways flights this way.
