HelloFresh is at it again; the meal delivery service is now offering a bonus of 15,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer points to “new” subscribers.

HelloFresh is a food subscription service which delivers ready to cook meals in a box weekly at your chosen time and date. Each box comes with all the ingredients required for the meals you pre-select online and handy instruction cards to cook it all up.

The Deal

I previously wrote about their 20,000 Qantas points offer (which had some teething issues at the time with the coupon code not working etc.) While 20k is a better deal, 15,000 Qantas points is still worthwhile considering it can be stacked with a discount. Talking about discounts, HelloFresh is also giving $25 discount on the first box and $25 on the second one.

How the deal works

Simply subscribe to a weekly Classic, Veggie or Family Box using promo code HFQANTAS15 and the email address saved in your Qantas Frequent Flyer account at checkout to get up to 15,000 points with HelloFresh – 5,000 points on the first box and $25 off, 5,000 points on the second and $25 off and 5,000 points on the 10th box.

How to maximise the deal for points

The best value is to be had on the first 2 boxes for which you will get a $25 discount each. This means you’re essentially paying $89.9 for 10,000 Qantas points + a total of 6 meals for 2 people.

If you’re in it for the points (which is probably the case if you’re reading this), cancel the subscription after the second week and simply refer another person in your family (wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, doggo, cat etc) so they can also earn 10k using the same tactic.

Note that the second box needs to be scheduled within 4 weeks of the first 1 being delivered to be eligible.

Referring friends to HelloFresh now also earns bonus points (1000 Qantas points for each friend you refer + $50 off your next order and your friend also gets $50 off).

When will you get the points?

According to the terms and conditions, Qantas points should be credited into your account within 60 days after the second box is delivered.

I took advantage of a previous offer approximately twelve months ago and haven’t used Hellofresh (HF) since.
I spoke to someone from HF earlier today and asked them to delete my account and remove my email address from the system.
‘Technically’ I’m now a new customer and was told that I should be able to earn Qantas points again.
