How to earn Etihad Guest Miles
Australian points collectors have an easy way to earn Eithad Guest miles with American Express Membership Rewards.
- Amex Membership Rewards: In Australia, 2 Membership Rewards points = 1 Etihad Guest mile. That means:
- A 15,000-mile Economy seat would require 30,000 MR points.
- A 49,000-mile Business seat would require 98,000 MR points.
- A 77,000-mile First seat would require 154,000 MR points.
Booking tips
- Search Abu Dhabi to any of the eligible cities and filter for GuestSeats.
- Use a tool such as Seats.Aero to quickly find availability.
- The discount is tied to segments to/from Abu Dhabi, so if you’re starting in Australia you’ll need to position to Abu Dhabi first, then apply the sale on the Abu Dhabi–new destination leg.
- Availability is limited and not guaranteed until ticketed; standard Etihad Guest rules apply.
Summing Up
Etihad says it’s celebrating a rapid network build-out, with 18 new destinations this year and a release of more than 25,000 GuestSeats for this three-day campaign, with some destinations featuring Etihad's brand new A321LR first class suites.
