3) Up to 15,500 bonus Velocity Points on Etihad flights
Virgin Australia is offering bonus Velocity points on new flight bookings with Etihad Airways for flights to the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Bookings may be made until the 29th of February 2020, for travel between 20 February 2020 and 12 December 2020.
Return trips in business or first class will earn a bonus 15,500 Velocity Points, whilst return journeys in economy will earn a bonus 7,800 Velocity Points.
There are a few things to note:
- Eligible flights must be marketed or operated by Etihad Airways, departing from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne for travel to Abu Dhabi or onwards
- Eligible flights must be booked in a fare class that normally earns points
- Bonus points are applied to the original fare class and upgrades will not attract additional points
