Kris+ Birthday Bash 2026: Earn 10 KrisPay Miles Per Dollar In Australia

Kris+ is celebrating its birthday the way all good loyalty programs should: by handing out miles. From 1 to 31 October 2026, Singapore Airlines' lifestyle rewards app Kris+ is paying 10 KrisPay Miles per dollar spent at every partner in Australia.

KrisPay Miles earned with Kris+ can be transferred to Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer at a 1:1 rate, where you could redeem for flights with Singapore Airlines, Scoot and Star Alliance partners.

The Kris+ Birthday Bash 2026 promotion covers the usual lineup of Sydney and Melbourne restaurants, cafés, bars and retailers. Also of interest is JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys, where you can earn 10 KrisPay Miles per dollar on gift cards via the Kris+ app. If a new laptop, TV or fridge is already on your shopping list, buying the gift card through Kris+ first turns that purchase into a serious pile of miles.

If you were around for last year's Kris+ Birthday Bash, temper your expectations, because in 2025 the promotion paid 15 KrisPay Miles per dollar. That said, 10 KrisPay Miles is still pretty generous, especially because it stacks on top of whatever your credit card already earns.

To put that in perspective, a $5 daily coffee for a week earns 350 miles, a $250 dinner at a partner restaurant earns 2,500 miles, and a $2,000 JB Hi-Fi gift card earns 20,000 miles.

Birthday Extras

Every Kris+ transaction of $10 or more this month enters you into a weekly draw for a number of prizes. For week one, there are three $100 JB Hi-Fi gift cards and 38 Movie Rewards movie tickets up for grabs.

If you have a Mastercard debit or credit card, you can score $10 back when you spend $40 in a single transaction at any Kris+ partner. This offer is limited to the first 500 users who complete the challenge, and each user can only claim it once.

There's a catch, though. The $10 arrives as KrisPay miles that can't be transferred to KrisFlyer, so treat it as $10 off your next Kris+ purchase rather than a step closer to a flight.

How To Earn Miles With Kris+

1. Download Kris+ and log in with your KrisFlyer number and password (if you're new, sign up with code D953254 for 500 bonus miles)
2. Link Apple Pay or Google Pay, then at a partner, scan the Kris+ QR code and enter the amount you're paying.
3. KrisPay miles will be credited straight away.
4. You can transfer KrisPay miles to KrisFlyer within 21 days, or switch on Auto-transfer to KrisFlyer to do this automatically.

Note that any KrisPay miles that miss the 21-day window are stuck in Kris+ instead of moving to your KrisFlyer account.

Bottom Line

The Birthday Bash budget has clearly been trimmed from last year's promotion, but 10 KrisPay Miles per dollar is still a solid return. This is especially the case on JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys gift cards, where the usual 3 KrisPay Miles per dollar more than triples. If you've got a big purchase planned, October might be the month to make it.
