American Express has launched what is arguably one of the most lucrative promotions I’ve seen in a long time.
Currently, sign-up bonuses on their range of business cards are at an all-time high. For example, Platinum comes with 400,000 Bonus Points, Amex Qantas Business Rewards comes with 120k bonus points and no annual fee, and Business Explorer comes with 100k bonus points.
But that’s not what this promotion is all about!

Get 20k For Adding An employee.
For a limited time (until October 31), a selection of cards receive a bonus for each employee that gets added to the account. The points total ranges from 10-20k depending on the card type you hold but other than adding the employee to your account (which is free), there are no spend requirements.
Is there a limit?
Most Amex business cards have a limit of 99 free employee cards. In theory, this means that you can add 99 new employees to your account and get a total of (up to) 1,980,000 bonus points, which is rather lucrative!
Surely there’s a catch?
Yes, you have to make sure the employee’s account is open for 3 months or more; otherwise, the points will get revoked. Keep in mind; it’s free to have such an account open.
