How Many Points Can I Earn On Ola Rides?
Velocity members will earn 2 Velocity Points for every AUD 1 spent on Ola Airport Rides, and 1 Velocity Point for every AUD 1 spent on all other Ola rides around Australia.
Ola Velocity Silver Bonus
Velocity Frequent Flyer Silver members will earn bonus points on top of the base points mentioned above at a rate of 50%. This means every Ola ride could earn you 3 Velocity Points per dollar.
Ola Velocity Gold Bonus
Velocity Frequent Flyer Gold members will earn bonus points on top of the base points mentioned above at a rate of 75%. This means every Ola ride could earn you 3.5 Velocity Points per dollar.
Ola Velocity Platinum Bonus
Velocity Frequent Flyer Gold members will earn bonus points on top of the base points mentioned above at a rate of 100%. This means every Ola ride could earn you 4 Velocity Points per dollar.
How To Link Your Velocity Membership?
In order to earn Velocity Points on all your Ola rides, a valid Velocity membership number must be successfully linked to an Ola account prior to booking a ride for the member to earn Velocity Points on that ride. Only the person who makes the booking is eligible to earn Velocity Points and the member’s first and last name from their Velocity Account must match the account name registered with Ola.
To link your account, simply download the app, click on the menu and click on your name. At the bottom of the app, you will see a menu item which reads “Velocity Frequent Flyer account”. Click this and enter your Velocity number. It’s important to make sure that your Ola account details (name and last name) match that of your Virgin account.
