Then, book a flight before 11.59pm AEST on 14 December 2022 to start rolling in points.

Members will earn 10 Velocity Points per $1 spent, instead of the normal five. As is typically the case, Virgin will double the base earn rate only, meaning those hoping to score double points through their Silver, Gold or Platinum member bonuses will be disappointed.

You can expect to earn double Velocity Points on fares that are marketed and operated by Virgin Australia, and flown before 31 October 2023. Points cannot be earned on Velocity Reward Seat bookings, or codeshare services marketed or operated by partner airlines.

There is no limit on the number of times this offer can be redeemed. Members should expect their bonus points to land in their Velocity Frequent Flyer account up to four weeks following travel.
