Velocity means fast, and that’s especially the case with this double Velocity Points or double Velocity Status Credits promotion. This offer is designed to get members closer to that next rung in the status ladder, or within reach of a lie-flat redemption at the pointy end.
This time it’s an invitation-only party, with Velocity members who voted in Virgin Australia’s Year In Review email now receiving a targeted bonus offer. If you did not interact with that email from last year it is unlikely you will receive this targeted offer.
To check if you’re eligible for double Velocity Status Credits or Double Velocity Points in February 2025, check your email inbox and spam folders.
If you are eligible, simply book a Virgin Australia flight with a VA flight number that normally earns Velocity Points and Status Credits by 25 February 2025 for travel by 30 June 2025. Eligible members do not need to activate this offer, and there is no limit to the number of flights you can earn a bonus on.
Offer Terms
If you’re offered double Velocity Status Credits or double Velocity Points, here are the key terms to be aware of;
- To be eligible you must have voted in your Year In Review email before 11.59pm AEST 31 December 2024.
- Members must book and ticket an eligible flight between 12.01am AEST 19 February 2025 and 11.59pm AEST 25 February 2025.
- An eligible flight is any Domestic, Trans-Tasman or International Short Haul Virgin Australia marketed and operated flight for travel between 19 February 2025 and 30 June 2025 that normally earns Velocity Points or Status Credits.
- Codeshare and partner airline services are not eligible for this offer.
- This promotion is valid for new flight bookings only.
- There is no limit on the amount of times this offer can be redeemed.
- Allow up to 4 weeks for the bonus Velocity Points or Status Credits to be allocated.
