Velocity Frequent Flyer just released their bonus points transfer offer for May 2019 with a bonus of up to 50% for those that earn points in a flexible reward program (the best kind) such as American Express Membership Rewards, Westpac Altitude Rewards, ANZ Rewards etc.
Important: this promo starts May 1! So wait until tomorrow to transfer.
The bonus works in tiered steps for most partners so only those with a stash of 500,001 points or more will get the 25%. (few exceptions below)
- 1-250,000 Velocity Points: 15% bonus Velocity Points
- 250,001-500,000 Velocity Points: 20% bonus Velocity Points
- 500,001+ Velocity Points: 25% bonus Velocity Points
50% Bonus For ANZ Rewards
Those transferring from ANZ Rewards or ANZ Business Rewards will earn a 20% bonus on any miles transferred + an additional 30% boost (50% bonus – great value!).
If for some reason you want to transfer your hotel loyalty points, you will receive a flat rate bonus of 20% which includes Marriott Bonvoy, Le Club Accor, Shangri-La, Hilton Honors and IHG Rewards Club
This time around Commbank Award point collectors are in luck (usually they are excluded from this transfer promos) when transferring from CommBank Awards from 1 May to 31 May 2019, you will receive a bonus 25% Velocity Points.
Flybuys users will only get a 15% bonus this time, which is still pretty good.
Velocity May Bonus Transfer Conclusion
This is an excellent bonus transfer offer by Velocity Frequent Flyer, especially for those with ANZ Rewards cards which will receive a double bonus of 20% + 30% (50% boost) on all transfers.
Note that if you have a credit card which earns in one fixed points currency, you won’t get any bonuses on automatic transfers.
