Earn 20k Amex Points With Life Insurance
Earn 20,000 Amex points with Life Insurance – a great way to boost your rewards quickly!Would you like to earn some bonus points and get life insurance while you’re at it?
UPDATE: This deal has now expired. Make sure to follow us on Facebook or subscribe to our newsletter so you will be the first one to find out about new deals!
From time to time American Express offers bonus points for new customers who sign up with Zurich for one of their Life Insurance products. This time around there’s a 20,000 points bonus up for grabs and anyone who’s not already covered by Zurich is eligible! Depending on your situation you can get the cover for as low as $5.48 per month (or lower depending on your personal circumstances). The minimum term for which you need to hold the insurance is 6 months, for me that works out to $32.88 for 20,000 Amex Membership reward points. Outstanding value 😉
Here’s a step by step guide on how you too can get your life insured and earn a nice amount of points for doing so!
- You need to have an American Express credit card (obviously!) if you don’t have an Amex yet, grab the Platinum Edge here for only $195 + $200 free travel credit, it’s my favourite card.
2. Head over to: https://www.americanexpress.com/au/content/insurance/term-life-insurance/mylife-offer/ and click on get a quote.
3. Make sure you select the Term Life Insurance product because this is cheaper.
4. Reduce the premium to $50,000 (unless you want a higher amount insured).
5. Complete all the details and select American Express at the checkout for your preferred payment method.
I just received my 20,000 bonus points after 1 month
That’s it! You will receive the details of your application in the mail and ones the first payment gets deducted the bonus points will drop in your account. Please note that cancelling before the 6 month term may void your eligibility for the points bonus which means they might get removed by American Express. Amex also pays 3 points per dollar or life insurance so it’s a great product if you’re in the market.
Note that even though the 20,000 points are not advertised on the site, you are eligible for the deal.
I personally received an invite in the mail for this promotion but also have an email to confirm the details:
