Yesterday Virgin Australia launched a new double points promotion and a sale (up to 30% off domestic + some internation flights)! Let’s have a look at the current promo.
The Velocity double points promotion will let you earn double Velocity Points (not status credits) when you book a Virgin Australia flight by 22 October 2018 for travel between 1 January 2019 and 9 October 2019.
To take advantage of this deal, here’s what you need to do to be eligible.
- Activate the offer by visiting this page before 11:59 PM AEDT on October 22nd.
- Book an eligible flight during the promotion period (book by 22/10/18 for travel from 01/01/19 t0 09/10/19)
- Make sure you enter your Velocity Frequent Flyer number at the time of booking!
- Grab yourself a coupon code here and get an extra discount (depending on your fare type) between 5-10%.
Flights that aren’t eligible:
Any trips you’ve booked before registering your Frequent Flyer number are unfortunately not eligible for this promotion. The same goes for any codeshare flights operated by another airline such as Singapore Airlines or Etihad for example. It also doesn’t apply to award bookings (which never earn points anyway).
When Will I Get The Points?
As per the terms and conditions, bonus points can take up to 4 weeks after your last flight to get credited to your Velocity Frequent Flyer account.
