Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Drops Award Flight Discounts, 20% Transfer Bonus And More
KrisFlyer is celebrating 10M members with a number of offers.
KrisFlyer, the frequent flyer program of Singapore Airlines, has just reached an impressive 10 million members as of March 2025. The rewards program is naturally celebrating in style by launching a bunch of promotional offers with discounted reward flights, bonus miles on travel, a transfer partner bonus and more.
Since its inception in 1999, KrisFlyer has grown into what Singapore Airlines describes as a 'fully-fledged lifestyle rewards program' that lets members earn and redeem miles across travel, shopping, dining, and unique experiences worldwide. Australia is actually Krisflyer’s second largest market, with 1.7 million members down under. Australian travellers can earn KrisFlyer miles on the ground at 14 KrisFlyer partners, including through flexible rewards credit cards, the world-first HSBC Star Alliance credit card and transfers from Velocity Frequent Flyer.
Here’s a closer look at what’s on offer as KrisFlyer celebrates 10 million members.
20% Off Economy & Premium Economy Awards
Between 7 and 23 March 2025, KrisFlyer members can enjoy a 20% discount on all Economy Saver flights across the Singapore Airlines network. The same discount applies to Premium Economy redemptions between Singapore and San Francisco as well as from Singapore to New York (JFK) and New York (EWR) to Singapore.
Tickets are valid for travel between 1 May and 15 November 2025. Check here for a list of blackout dates.
While 20% off is not quite as generous as the monthly 30% discount for Spontaneous Escapes promotions, the route flexibility and travel window is huge.
20% Transfer Bonus For Selected Partners
From 7 to 31 March 2025, KrisFlyer members can enjoy a 20% bonus on transfers to or from selected loyalty partners. This means better value when converting KrisFlyer miles into partner points, or vice versa, helping members unlock more rewards across different programs.
You’ll receive a 20% bonus on the following transfers;
- Velocity Frequent Flyer (for AU/NZ members): KrisFlyer miles to Velocity Points
- Accor: in both directions
- Marriott Bonvoy: KrisFlyer miles to Bonvoy points
- CapitaStar (for SG members): in both directions
- Esso Singapore (for SG members): in both directions
50% Bonus Miles On Singapore Airlines & Scoot Flights
Between 24 and 31 March 2025, members who book flights with Singapore Airlines or Scoot will receive 50% bonus miles on their bookings for travel between 1 April and 31 October 2025.
The offer is eligible for all fare types, although there is a 5,000 bonus miles cap per sector. Although, that threshold is nearly impossible to hit for flights booked in Economy. Only long-haul Business or First passengers would get close.

30% Off KrisShop & Pelago Redemptions
From 7 to 31 March 2025, KrisFlyer members can enjoy 30% off sitewide redemptions on KrisShop and Pelago.
KrisShop is Singapore Airlines’ online and in-flight retailer, selling a range of products, from travel essentials and luxury goods to exclusive airline merchandise. Meanwhile, Pelago is Singapore Airlines’ experiences platform, offering activities such as guided tours, cultural experiences, and adventure sports across various destinations.
Generally speaking, redeeming points for products and services will offer poor value.
30% Transfer Bonus To Kris+
From 7 to 31 March 2025, KrisFlyer members will receive a 30% transfer bonus when sending KrisFlyer miles to Kris+.
Kris+ is a lifestyle rewards app that allows users to instantly earn and spend miles at over activity, dining and retail outlets. But remember, redeeming miles for products and services will offer poor value.
