Qantas has dropped a surprise promotion, where frequent flyers can choose to earn either Double Status Credits or Double Qantas Points.
The latest offer applies to domestic and trans-Tasman Qantas flights. You will need to activate and book by 11 May 2026, for travel between 12 May 2026 and 31 August 2026.
As you might expect, Double Status Credits offers are some of Qantas' most loved and anticipated promotions. That's because Status Credits are the key to earning elite status with Qantas, which comes with perks like priority boarding and lounge access. Earning Double Status Credits unlocks Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Platinum One status at twice the regular speed, while also boosting progress towards Lifetime Qantas Status.
This is the second double Status Credits or double Qantas Points offer launched by the Flying Kangaroo this year, following three DSC promos in 2025. As usual, you can also earn double Qantas Points on Qantas Hotel and Holiday bookings made during the promotional period.
Qantas Double Status Or Points: May 2026
For the next seven days, members can register to earn double Status Credits or double Qantas Points for unlimited bookings made between 5 and 11 May 2026. Eligible dates of travel span from 12 May to 31 August 2026.
Note that this offer applies to Qantas-marketed and operated Australian Domestic and Trans-Tasman flights only. This includes QF flights operated by Alliance Airlines, National Jet, Eastern Australia Airlines and Sunstate Airlines.
International Qantas flights, as well as Jetstar or partner airline flights will not earn double Status Credits or Points.
Bonus Status Credits from this offer do not count towards Loyalty Bonus, Platinum Bonus Rewards, Platinum One Bonus Reward, and Status Accelerator/Challenge earn requirements. Full offer available here.
