Thinking of applying for a new Velocity points-earning credit card? Read this first!

Until 31st March 2023, Virgin Australia’s frequent flyer program is offering additional benefits on top of the standard application bonus for Velocity credit cards issued by Virgin Money, American Express, Bank of Queensland and Westpac. If you apply for an eligible Velocity Points earning credit card, you have the option of first selecting a benefit of 30,000 Velocity Points, 250 Status Credits or a $200 Coles gift card.

As long as you make a selection before applying for a new card, and meet the minimum spend criteria for the standard bonus offer provided by the bank, you’re in for an additional reward. The Exclusive Bonus promotion applies to the Velocity cards listed below.

How To Earn Your Exclusive Benefit

Step 1: Visit the offer page here and select “Choose Benefit”.

Step 2: Follow the prompt to sign into your Velocity account.

Step 3: Select your preferred benefit and click “Confirm Selection”

Step 4: Check your email inbox for a confirmation email.

Step 5: Apply for an eligible card (see below) and meet the minimum spend.

Step 6: Allow at least 30 days for your benefit to arrive.
