Velocity Transfer Bonus: 10,000 Bonus Velocity Points On Bank Transfers

Velocity Frequent Flyer has dropped another of its regular transfer bonus promotions, this time offering a whopping 10,000 bonus Velocity Points on partner transfers! This is a good opportunity to extract better value from your flexible rewards points, especially if your Velocity balance is looking a little tired, or you have a specific flight redemption in mind.

10,000 Bonus Velocity Points On Bank Transfers

Between 1 February 2026 and 31 May 2026, you can earn up to 10,000 bonus Velocity Points when transferring bank rewards points to Velocity.

After activating the offer, members can receive 2,500 bonus Velocity Points per month for every 1,000 Velocity Points earned/transferred each month in February, March, April and May 2026. Eligible banking partners are American Express, Virgin Money, and Westpac.

Members can qualify either by earning directly on a Velocity-Points earning credit card or by transferring points from a banking rewards program into Velocity. The bonus is awarded monthly, and you can earn up to 10,000 bonus Velocity Points in total during the promotion period.

Note that this offer appears to be targeted, meaning not every Velocity member will be eligible. That said, it appears the net has been cast pretty wide. Be sure to check your email inbox for a promotional email from Velocity Frequent Flyer inviting you to register. You can also try activating the offer on the promotion page here to see whether your account is eligible - if you see "this offer has expired", your account is not eligible.

Here's how to earn bonus Velocity Points:

1. Activate this offer via the promo page here.
2. Earn at least 1,000 Velocity Points per month between 1 February and 31 May 2026, either by eligible partner transfer or a direct earn credit card.
3. You will earn 2,500 bonus Velocity Points for every month you meet the minimum earn amount after offer activation.

Before making your transfer, here's some fine print to note:

• This offer is targeted, and to be eligible, members must have received this offer via email from Velocity Frequent Flyer
• You must activate this offer before making a transfer or direct earn contribution
• You will not earn bonus points for any months before offer activation
• Eligible banking partners are American Express, Virgin Money, and Westpac
• Velocity Points earned through a credit card sign-up bonus do not count towards qualification
• Eligible Velocity Points earned are counted by calendar month from 1 February 2026 to 31 May 2026
• Allow up to 4 weeks after each calendar month for the bonus points to be credited

Should I Transfer My Points?

At Flight Hacks, we love Velocity Frequent Flyer’s regular transfer bonus promotions. These offers are a great way to maximise the value of your flexible bank reward points, especially if you have a specific flight redemption in mind.

We do still advise against transferring points to Velocity just because there is a bonus running, as this will wipe the flexibility of holding bank reward points. As soon as you make that transfer, you’re restricted to Velocity, as opposed to having the option to send bank rewards elsewhere when that Business Class Reward Seat pops up with another frequent flyer scheme.

That said, if the bonus is tempting enough, a speculative transfer could prove worthwhile.
