These terms and conditions govern the 20% bonus Avios campaign organised by Qatar Airways Group Q.C.S.C, through its Privilege Club (“Qatar Airways”). Participation in the Campaign is deemed acceptance of the T&Cs.
The Campaign commences 12:01 AM, (AEST) on 19th July 2023 and closes at 11:59 PM (AEST) on 18th August 2023 (unless extended at Qatar Airways’ discretion)
This Campaign is open to all current Privilege Club members who are also Card Members of American Express Limited in Australia and New Zealand. The Primary Card Member must be enrolled in Membership Rewards® Ascent, Premium Ascent, Business Ascent, Gateway, Corporate Ascent, Membership Rewards®, Platinum Bonus or David Jones Membership Rewards® program.
Eligible Participants will earn bonus Avios if the Eligible Participant converts at least 2,000 Membership Rewards® points into Avios during the Campaign Period.
The bonus Avios awarded will be calculated at 20% of the number of base Avios, being Avios converted from Rewards points as per the conversion ratio set by the Participating Partner in accordance with the Membership Rewards® terms and conditions, converted in a single transaction; and the conversion will deem to have occurred on the transaction date shared with Qatar Airways by the Participating Partner.
The bonus Avios will be calculated on per transaction basis and not on the cumulative sum of base Avios converted from Membership Rewards® points during the Campaign Period.
The bonus Avios will not be calculated retroactively under any circumstances. In other words, if the conversion date referred to above occurs after the end of the Campaign Period the Eligible Participant will not be awarded any bonus Avios.
All bonus Avios earned will reflect in the Eligible Participant’s Privilege Club account up to 45 days after the end of the Campaign Period.
Once Membership Rewards® are converted into Avios, the transaction cannot be reversed.
All base Avios and bonus Avios awarded under this Campaign will be subject to the Qatar Airways
Privilege Club Terms & Conditions.
All decisions made by Qatar Airways with respect to any matter relating to this Campaign shall be final.
Subject to applicable law, Qatar Airways reserves the right to vary these T&Cs and/or terminate or otherwise amend this Campaign with or without prior notice in its sole and absolute discretion. Qatar Airways is not liable for any technical error that may occur during the Campaign that is outside of Qatar Airways’ reasonable control. Qatar Airways reserves the right to verify the eligibility of participating Privilege Club members and refuse or remove participation in the Campaign to those who Qatar Airways reasonable suspects are in breach of the T&Cs or involved in fraudulent activity.
Based on previous promotions does it actually take 45 days for bonus Avios to post to your Privilege Club account? have you received them sooner than that?
I transferred points from Amex before 18AUG and no bonus points yet.
