Woolworths Offers 4,500 Everyday Rewards Points On $35 Prepaid SIMs

For a limited time, Woolworths are offering bonus Everyday Rewards Points when purchasing Everyday Mobile SIM cards. The promotion offers 4,500 bonus Everyday Rewards Points on $35 Everyday Mobile 30 day plans, or 3,500 points on $30 plans. With a limit of five plans per account, that means you could earn up to 22,500 Everyday Rewards Points from this promotion. That's 11,250 Qantas Points if converted.

While this offer is targeted, and won't be available to all Everyday Rewards members, it seems to be offered quite widely. To check whether you're eligible for this booster, open your Everyday Rewards App.

The fine print for this offer is rather interesting. They mention that you must be a new Everyday Mobile customer, but don't say you need to activate the SIM cards. They explicitly say "points offer is available when you purchase a $30 or $35 30 day mobile plan in-store at Woolworths" — meaning the Woolies purchase is the trigger, not setting up the new mobile plan. Everyday Rewards say bonus points will land in your account within 14 business days of purchase.

You must first boost the offer in the Everyday Rewards app before you shop. Boosting closes 23:59 on 25 August 2026, and any purchases made before you boost won't collect the bonus points, even if they otherwise qualify.

Is This Offer Worth It?

Stack the maximum five $35 plans and you'll earn 22,500 Everyday Rewards Points for $175. Redeemed in-store at Woolworths, 2,000 points get you $10 off, so those 22,500 points are only worth $112.50 off a shop. That is of course less than the $175 spent, so as pure grocery credit, this offer isn't valuable.

It's a different story if you convert to Qantas Points. Everyday Rewards Points convert to Qantas Points at a 2:1 ratio, so those 22,500 ER Points become 11,250 Qantas Points. Assuming you value the SIM cards at zero, that's 1.55 cents per Qantas Point, or 64 Qantas Points per dollar spent.

While this is a somewhat generous offer, it isn't a great idea to pay over 1.5 cents per Qantas Point unless you're confident you can get much better value when redeeming. Long-haul business class is where that value is highest, where you could easily extract 3-5 cents per point. Naturally, 11,250 points won't cover a redemption like this on its own, but it's a solid top-up toward one if you're already accumulating points for a business class redemption.
