Luxury Escapes Société Status Fast Track For Qantas Frequent Flyers

If you've put in the hard yards earning Qantas Frequent Flyer status, Luxury Escapes wants to reward you for it elsewhere. The Société loyalty program is running a status match offer that lets eligible Qantas Frequent Flyers fast-track straight to Société Silver or Gold Status, skipping the usual points and nights accrual entirely.

Société is Luxury Escapes' own loyalty program, with four tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. We have covered the Société program in a detailed guide here.

Normally, Société members climb the ladder by earning Status Credits on eligible bookings. This promotion speeds up the process for elite Qantas Frequent Flyers by matching your existing Qantas status to a similar Société tier. The offer is open to selected Société Bronze members in Australia.

Although this promotion is called a status "match", it is more of a fast-track offer, as you will need to book a Hotel, Tour or Cruise offer for a minimum of 5 nights and travel within 3 months of requesting a status match. After you return from your trip, Luxury Escapes will review your request and upgrade your Société tier within 4 weeks.

Your current Qantas tier determines what Société tier you can unlock, and it's worth noting the ceiling here is Société Gold:

• Qantas Silver → Société Silver
• Qantas Gold → Société Gold
• Qantas Platinum → Société Gold
• Qantas Platinum One → Société Gold

If successful, your matched status lasts until the end of your following Société membership year, giving you a decent runway to actually use the perks.

Société Status Match applications close on 31 August 2026. Members can request a Luxury Escapes status match once per 3 years.

How To Get A Luxury Escapes Société Status Match

1. Visit the Luxury Escapes Société Status Match page here and click 'Apply for status match'.
2. Follow the prompts and upload proof of your Qantas status. Be sure your QFF and Société names match.
3. Once you're pre-approved, you need to book a Hotel, Tour or Cruise offer for a minimum of five nights and complete that travel within three months. The nights don't need to be consecutive and can be split across multiple bookings.
4. After you return from your trip, Luxury Escapes will review your documentation and upgrade your Société status within four weeks.

Summing Up: Is This Worthwhile?

If you're already sitting on Qantas Silver or above and you were planning to book with Luxury Escapes, this promotion is a no-brainer. But if you had zero plans to book travel with Luxury Escapes within the next three months, it might be harder to justify.

For now, Luxury Escapes Société is only offering a status match for Qantas Frequent Flyers. Virgin Australia's Velocity Frequent Flyer is not yet included.
