Score Bonus Status Credits And Cheap Flights To Tokyo With Virgin Australia
Fly to Tokyo with Virgin Australia: discounted fares, bonus status credits, and unforgettable journeys! This year has been a record year for Virgin Australia and its Velocity Frequent Flyer loyalty program. From returning several axed short-haul international flights, partnering with Qatar Airways and United Airlines, launching a major brand campaign, returning Velocity partner redemptions, unveiling a new concept cabin and even completely overhauling its fare brands, Australia’s most loved airline has truly done it all.
Yesterday, we caught wind of Virgin Australia’s plans to launch a new service between Cairns and Tokyo Haneda in June 2023, utilising its soon to be delivered Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The route was officially launched today, in partnership with Cairns Airport and the Queensland Government.
Speaking at Cairns Airport today, Virgin Australia CEO Jayne Hrdlicka said that the airline is delighted to add over 2,000 weekly seats between Cairns and Tokyo.
“We know the Japanese market is hugely important to trade and tourism in Far North Queensland and the Sunshine State and our service will result in more international visitors arriving in Cairns every year, having a very positive impact on the State’s economy,” she said.
A celebratory launch sale and bonus Velocity Status Credit offer are available as part of Virgin’s Tokyo dream. Here’s what you need to know.
